The owner of the restaurant used to work as a firefighter but changed his carrer to become a soba chef.
What compelled his decision was that he could not forget the taste of the soba he had in Kameoka, a city in Kyoto. During his training to make soba at the restaurant, he went deeper into the world of soba.
The restaurant is a renovated 300-year-old thatched-roof house located in the peaceful countryside of Tambasasayama.
