Museum of Noh Artifacts, Sasayama

The purpose of establishing this museum is to collect and study valuable items such as Noh masks, costumes, and musical instruments from the Middle Ages to the early modern period, as well as materials and documents handed down from the Edo period in Sasayama region. The museum creates a mystical and profundity atmosphere and exhibits the collection from the perspective of arts and crafts. As a permanent exhibition hall of Noh play culture, this museum has become a base for traditional performing arts and is attracting attention from both inside and outside of Japan.
