Oomiya is a long-established store known for its high-quality wild boar meat for over 70 years, and it has recently opened a new location in the heart of the castle town.
Here you can enjoy wild boar dishes and other fresh ingredients in a cozy yet refined atmosphere.

The Castle Town Store offers a carefully curated selection of Tambasasayama specialities for you to enjoy at home.
The rich flavor of wild boar, aromatic black soybeans, seasonal organic vegetables, locally brewed sake, Tamba pottery and Tamba tea with a history dating back to the Heian period (794-1185).

In the café inside the store, you can enjoy exquisite game cuisine.

In November 2025, a new restaurant opened where you can enjoy a relaxed meal.
Both lunch and dinner are available.
Lunch: 11:00 AM – 2:30 PM(last order)
Dinner: 5:00 PM – 8:30 PM(last order)

You can enjoy various ways to savor wild boar, including boar shabu-shabu and grilled boar, in addition to the traditional boar hot pot.
A variety of set meals — including wagyu beef, deep-fried shrimp, and black bean yu-dofu (boiled tofu) — are also available.
