Amma Samurai House Museum

“Jousi no Sekku” is one of the five seasonal festivals that have been passed down in Japan since ancient times. Hina dolls from the Tambasasayama City collection will be on display at the Amma Samurai House Museum, one of the four cultural facilities in Tambasasayama City. We will introduce the Japanese traditional culture of “Jousi no Sekku,” which has now developed as “Doll’s Festival,” including its origins. This is a valuable opportunity for you to learn about Tamnasaasayama’s rich historical heritage by introducing the Kamishi Festival and Doll’s Festival, which appear in historical documents handed down by the Aoyama family, the feudal lord.
