The food festival “Tambasasayama World Expo Umaimon Castle-Yokocho ~Tambasasayama Meat Festival~” will be held!

‘Tambasasayama World Expo – Heritage and Future – The beauty of Japan’, will be held for one year starting from Tuesday, April 1st.

A special performance, ‘Tambasasayama Spring Night Festival 2025 ～Feast of Light, Noh, and Food in Sasayama Castle Ruins~’ will be held on the first day, April 1 (Tuesday), followed by a Spring special performance from April 7 (Monday) to May 6 (Tuesday, holiday) as part of the opening event.Tambasasayama Spring Night Festival 2025 ～Feast of Light, Noh, and Food in Sasayama Castle Ruins~During the event period, you will be able to experience the charm of Tambasasayama through Noh performances that were loved by the feudal lord Aoyama. You may also want to enjoy the projection mapping, light performances, stalls, and more, all set against the backdrop of Sasayama Castle!

Additionally, in conjunction with the projection mapping taking place as part of the opening event, the food festival ‘Tambasasayama World Expo Umaimon-Yokocho’ will be held for a limited time at the Sannomaru South Square of Sasayama Castle.This event showcases a variety of flavors that utilize ingredients produced in Tanbasasayama, such as Tambasasayama beef, game meat, Tambasasayama rice, bamboo shoots, sansho pepper, wild vegetables and more.

An event highlight! A limited-time ‘Whole Roasted Tambasasayama Beef’ will be available for four days!

From April 1st (Tuesday) to May 6th (Tuesday, holiday), we will hold the ‘Tambasasayama Meat Festival’ and set up a barbecue corner.

A special event this spring where you can enjoy a hands-free barbecue at the renowned cherry blossom spot, at the Sasayama Castle ruins, one of the best in Kansai!!

You can enjoy these incredible BBQ prices – Kobe beef: 150g for 5,000 yen, Wagyu beef: 150g for 2,500 yen – only at the meat festival in Tambasasayama, the birthplace of Kobe beef!

Additionally, on the following limited four days of April 5th (Saturday), April 6th (Sunday), April 26th (Saturday), and April 27th (Sunday), we will hold a ‘Whole Roasted Tanba Sasayama Beef’ event. Due to expected crowds and potential sellouts, purchasing advance tickets is recommended.A combo ticket for ‘Whole Roasted Tambasasayama Beef’ and the projection mapping event is now available. Customers who purchase advance tickets will also receive a special benefit: a free rental barbecue grill (normally 1,000 yen for same-day rental)! This will help shorten your waiting time.
