Tambasasayama Tea is the number one teahouse in Hyogo Prefecture, and has been cultivated in the Heian period(710-1192), inheriting the techniques and traditions of its ancestors.
The average temperature is the lowest among Japanese tea shops, and Tamba fog makes delicious tea with the sweetness and umami of the tea. This traditional cultivation of Tambasasayama tea is also sung in the Tambasasayama Dekansho Bushi folk song, which is certified as a Japanese heritage site.
