The 43nd Daikokuji Temple and Tamba Tea Festival will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025!
【Schedule】
10:00am – 10:30am Tamba Tea Urn and Komusos (Zen monks) procession
(from Chanosato Kaikan hall to Daikokuji)
11:00am – 11:30am Opening Ceremony (at Chanosato Kaikan hall area)
11:40am – 2:30pm Performances and other activities (at Chanosato Kaikan hall area)
1:30pm – 2:00pm Tea picking girls’ photo session (at the tea plantation)
*Girls wearing traditional tea picking costumes
2:35pm – 3:35pm Bingo competition
3:50pm – 4:00pm Mochimaki
※Mochimaki is a traditional event where rice cakes (mochi) are thrown to participants
